Meet Dr. Macie Biermann
If you’re struggling with bloating, constipation, irregular cycles, PMS, fatigue, or second-guessing everything you eat — you’re not alone.
Many women are told their labs look “normal” while continuing to deal with digestive and hormone symptoms that affect their daily life. At Natural Family Functional Health, the goal is not simply to manage symptoms, but to understand why they are happening in the first place.
Dr. Macie Biermann, DC specializes in functional medicine with a clinical focus on hormones, gut health and whole-body wellness. She believes the body functions as an interconnected system, where symptoms are often signals pointing back to deeper imbalances involving digestion, blood sugar, inflammation, stress, nutrient deficiencies, detoxification, and hormones.
Through advanced functional lab testing and comprehensive health evaluations, Dr. Macie works to uncover the root causes contributing to chronic symptoms and create personalized plans designed to support healing naturally and sustainably.
This work is deeply personal to Dr. Macie. Like many of her patients, she understands how frustrating it can feel to search for answers and not feel heard. After experiencing digestive issues, gallbladder attacks, acne, autoimmune symptoms, PCOS, and a severe antibiotic reaction that impacted her own health, she became passionate about helping women uncover the deeper “why” behind their symptoms instead of being told everything is normal.
She understands that chronic symptoms impact more than physical health alone — they affect relationships, confidence, fertility journeys, family life, and overall quality of life. That perspective shapes the compassionate, root-cause approach she brings to every patient relationship.
